Commemorating the life of the legendary maestro Jeff Beck with a limited run of 130 instruments
Jeff Beck is considered one of the best guitarists in history, capable of playing virtually anything in his own unique, soulful style. Beck rose to prominence in the Yardbirds, and Gibson honors his legacy with the “YardBurst,” a faithful recreation of the iconic 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard he played first with the Yardbirds and later in The Jeff Beck Group.
The Jeff Beck “YardBurst” 1959 Les Paul Standard boasts a body made from one-piece, lightweight mahogany, with tops meticulously hand-selected to mirror the original instrument as closely as possible. Its Dark Cherry Sunburst finish was aged in the Murphy Lab to match the appearance of the original during Jeff’s Yardbird days, while the look is completed by a black single-ply pickguard and unpotted Custombuckers with double Classic White bobbins.
Only 130 of these exceptional recreations were handcrafted by the artisans at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. Each instrument comes with an aged Lifton™ hardshell case and special memorabilia celebrating Jeff Beck’s extraordinary career.
