Only 50 units will be hand-crafted by the expert luthiers and craftspeople of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of this extraordinary limited run. Gibson Custom Shop is the pinnacle of craftsmanship, quality, and sound excellence. Each instrument celebrates Gibson’s legacy through accuracy, authenticity, and attention to detail.
Adam Jones—no stranger to signature guitars— is a renowned musician. His journey into the world of music began in his teenage years, influenced by his artistic mother and an environment that encouraged creativity. Before his rise to fame with Tool, Jones worked in special effects and set design, contributing to notable films such as Jurassic Park and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Jones co-founded Tool in 1990 with vocalist Maynard James Keenan, drummer Danny Carey, and bassist Paul D’Amour (later replaced by Justin Chancellor). His guitar work is characterized by its complexity and the use of unusual time signatures, which have become a hallmark of Tool’s sound.
Adam Jones is not only recognized for his musical talent but also for his role in directing many of Tool’s music videos, which are known for their surreal, visually striking imagery. This synthesis of music and visual art has contributed to the band’s unique and enduring presence in the rock genre, with Jones often cited as one of the driving forces behind their success and distinctive style.
